Travel route
The night train from Berlin to Brussels takes you directly to the capital of Belgium. The train departs from Berlin and makes stops in Halle (Saale) and Erfurt late in the evening. At night there are further stops in Frankfurt and Mainz. The train runs via Koblenz and Aachen in the morning towards Belgium, where you can get off in Liège-Guillemins or Brussels. You travel with the ÖBB Nightjet, the night trains of the Austrian railway company.

Compartment
On this night train, you can choose from four types of accommodations.
Seats are the cheapest option. You spend the night sitting in a seat. There are six seats in each compartment. You can share the compartment with others or book it as a private compartment. Washing and toilet facilities are located in the corridor.
Couchettes offer more comfort and are a popular choice for groups and families. In this type of compartment, you sit in a seat during the day. At night, you can convert the seats into a berth. ÖBB provides a pillow, blanket and sheet for each passenger. They can be booked as 6-person compartment, 4-person compartment or private compartment. Men and women travel mixed, except in the women-only compartment. A small breakfast (hot drink, 1 board, butter, jam) and a mineral water are included. Washing and toilet facilities are located in the hallway.
The standard sleeper compartment offers even more comfort. During the day, the coupe has a maximum of 3 seats. In the evening you can unfold the beds, equipped with a thin mattress including blanket, sheet and pillow. A la carte breakfast, a welcome drink, towels and a set of toiletries are also included. There is also a sink in the compartment where you can freshen up. The restrooms are located in the hallway. For this type of accommodation, men and women travel in separate compartments if you book separate seats. If you book the compartment completely private for your travel party, there will obviously be no distinction between men and women.
The deluxe sleeper compartment has all the amenities of the standard sleeper compartment but offers a nice extra. The deluxe compartment has a private bathroom with a sink, shower and toilet.
